| Homeschooling: an affordable choice. |
| Enrollment Fees:
Enrollment fees are part of the enrollment process and are due at time of registration. Q&A: Are fees pro-rated if enrolling late in the year?
No, the full amounts are due anytime during the school year. Are there any payment plans?
No, the fees are as reasonable as possible. Can I send the forms first and the fees when available later?
Forms submitted without due fees will be returned. Are students enrolled in Adult Education required take achievement tests? No. |
Testing Fees:
Parents may choose to test in any other grade level. Q&A: Can students use other testing services?
Yes, as long as we get a copy of the test results. Are these pass or fail tests?
No, these are assessment tests showing where the student is academically at the time of the test. Do you recommend testing Kindergartners? Although they might be academically ready for these tests, they might not be physically ready to focus on such a long test.
We recommend considering testing once students reach the second or third grade levels. |
Books and Materials:
Curriculum costs vary depending on the needs of each student. Parents are free to choose those resources they feel are best for their children. Our school does provide curriculum information and can customize packages for individual students. We carry materials that we highly recommend because of their Christian content, ease of use, and academic excellence. Also, there are several excellent home school bookstores that carry most of the resources you will need. Solid Rock in Smyrna TN and Crossroads Christian Bookstore in Springfield TN are two local home school suppliers who would be happy to help you. There are also many catalog suppliers you can find online that carry many of the more popular materials (ABeka, Bob Jones, Alpha Omega, and others).
