What a great job the girls did all year, winning every conference game for the second year in a row. Congratulations Coach Tenut, Romans, and Powell. We specially want to thank our Head Coach Ronnie Tenut for her tireless work and outstanding effort for the last four years. She is now the most successful Royals coach having earned two Varsity Conference Titles, a Second-place finish at the Warrior's Regional Varsity Tournament, a Third-place at the Chick-fil-A Varsity Tournament, and a Fourth-place at the Nationals Middle School Tournament. Well done and thanks for the memories. Go Lady Royals! |
![]() Royals Basketball standout: Caleb Maxwell had an outstanding season as a member of this year's Varsity Basketball team, breaking several school records and earning the team's Most Valuable Player award. His individual school records include: most points scored in a season with 625, most rebounds in a season with 390, most points scored in a game with 49, most rebounds in a game with 24, and highest scoring average per game at 22.3. His scoring average per game placed him in fifth place for all players in all schools in the Nashville metro area. He earned All-Tournament selections at the Chick-fil-A tourney, the Regional Home School tourney, and the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference Tournament. He was also selected to the conference's All-Start team. Great job, Caleb! |

![]() Nationally Ranked Tennis Player: We congratulate Tennys Sandgren for such an excellent season he's having, with eight National championships so far. He reached the finals in February at the Columbus Indoors and then won a championship every month for the next six months (two in April) First it was USTA/ITF in College Station, then the USTA International Spring Championships and the Easter Bowl in April 2007. He finished May and June with trophies from USTA National Opens before picking up Gold Balls at the USTA National Claycourts and the Hardcourts at Kalamazoo. Tennys is a 10th grader at Aaron Academy and resides in Gallatin, TN. His older brother Davey currently plays for the University of Tennessee's Tennis Team. |
![]() Record Breaker: Michel Martin, this year's Royals running back, broke several school rushing records, earning the Offensive Most Valuable Player Award in his senior year. Michael is now our first 1,000-yard rusher in the history of our program, finishing the season with 1,294 yards. He also set records for most yards rushing in a game (311), most rushing touchdowns in a season (22), and most touchdowns in one game (6). In addition, he was also named to the All-Conference squad for the National Christian Sports Conference, with teams in Alabama and Tennessee. To see more of our records-setters go... [ here ]. |

![]() College Football Player: Ben Hovies, an Aaron Academy graduate, is now playing football for the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. He is enjoying his freshman year with his fellow Cadets. Ben earned All-Conference honors while playing for the Aaron Academy Royals, and finished as the second leading rusher in our program. He captained his team and also earned our school's Christian Leadership Award for his example on and off the field of play. Ben earned his Eagle Scout Badge while in his senior year, and was a member of the local Civil Air Patrol. He is a resident of Lebanon, TN. Go Mariners! |
![]() All-Tournament at Nationals: Congratulations to Amanda Rhein (in Lady Royals red hoodie) for earning All-Tournament honors at the recent National Homeschool Volleyball Tournament in Omaha, NE. Coach Green lead our young first-year volleyball team through a great season with a 12-3 record. This constitutes the best first-year result for any of our sport programs), and Amanda played a big part in their success. At the National Tournament our girls earned a spot in the Silver Bracket, a prestigious placing for a young team. Amanda will continue playing for the Select Volleyball Club as she gets ready for next year's season. Go Lady Royals! |
