HS Testing Requirements:

In order for senior students to be eligible for graduation, one of the following requirements must be satisfied:

A

For students NOT planning to attend college: One (1) Stanford Achievement Test or One (1) Iowa Test (with a minimum Stanine score of 4, taken in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade).

B

For students planning to attend college: One (1) ACT Test or One (1) CLT Test (Classic Learning Test) taken in grades 10th through 12th, and submitted before April 30th of their graduating year.

Kinder thru 8th Subjects:

Required core subjects and suggested electives for the younger students.

SUBJECTS

Grading Scale:
    A  94-100
    C  77-86
    B  87-93
    D  70-76

High School Credits:
Students may not earn more than 9 high school credits per school year.

Non-Textbook Courses:
For courses not requiring a text book (physical education, community service, etc.), 75 hours of work or participation constitute a half credit, and 150 hours constitute one full credit.
Graduation for 11th Graders:
Students who qualify for graduation and desire to graduate at the end of their junior year must submit an ACT test with a score of 24 or higher.
Transfers:
Please note that some public schools reserve the right to test incoming students and/or accept or not accept credits from homeschooled students.
Check with your local county or school district.
Bible Credits:
Only studies concerning the Christian Holy Bible (Old Testament and New Testament) are accepted as Bible credits.
Testing Notes:
The ACT is NOT administered by Aaron Academy.

Aaron Academy's school code is 430-887 (do NOT use the basic home school code: 969-9... etc.).
Your student is enrolled in a private high school and is therefore not an independent home schooler.
